My Panel Burnt Down Last Night
So last night, i got in an accident in my 94 subaru, rear ended someone at about 50, air bag saved me. Then, this morning, my dad calls and says my panel burnt down to the ground, well, just burnt, cause it was on the ground. He said straight up inferno. Melted it all down, said the frame was still looking good, said he could see my watts link and notch and they looked good, cause the back of the body was melted away. Cops think electrical short, although, i dont think so, cause i had everything fused and on breakers and everything. Also they always say electrical short instead of arson at first on car fires. But there are 2 people who werent happy with me in the town, they just dislike me, so yeah. But yeah, car accident total a subaru yesterday, panel burns down today. Ill miss it, please give me some uplifting words, this is a hard time right now. Thanks for listening.

Not sure why you chose the welcome area for this, but my condolences for the loss of all that hard work. If you really believe this to be arson and the local PD won't investigate, try a PI.
I'd also suggest that if you're really being targeted by someone willing to commit arson, they probably won't stop there. Nutcases tend to like to extract satisfaction repeatedly until caught Good luck!

That sucks man - all that hard work
That is the one thing that i'm scared of with my toys.....getting burnt (most everything else is fixable) Is there anything salvagable on it? If you find out it was arson - kick some ARSE!

thanks guys, im feeling alot better about it now. Ive been getting lots of support, and it helps.
624whldr - No offense, but im not selling any of it. I AM building another panel, i actually already found another 65 that a guy is going to hook me up with, and im gonna throw it on my frame and chop it 6" also. I always said id be in a magazine with my panel by the time im 25, this is just a giant bump in the road. kamikazegmc - yeah, we have the local cops, a personal investigator and an arson specialist working on the case, i really hope they find something. I gave them a few leads, lets hope they lead somewhere though. |

That sucks! Around here, I see burned vehicles alot. It's almost always a case of arson, or what we locals like to call "reservation lightning"

ah man that sucks so hard.
I'm glad yer alright from yer wreck... good job Subaru. sorry about yer panel - I know ya put a lot of work into it. That was a cool ride. If you think it was arson, pursue it. Don't let those *insert bad words here* get away with it. Get a pi, get arson person or insurance weenie to look it over. -W |
