heater hose routing

After 15 years of being apart, I'm having a memory lapse on how the heater hose routing is supposed to be on my 71.

I have a fitting in the intake, the water pump and a fitting in the radiator.
The one picture that I can find has the upper heater fitting going to the radiator and the other going to a tee that fed an inline coolant heater but I can't tell where it connects at the engine.

My 69 396 has a conventional setup with one hose going to the intake and one going to the water pump. I can't find anything in the assem. book showing the extra radiator fitting.

Any pictures or recommendations would be appreciated.

The 5/8" hose should go from the intake man to the lower heater inlet, the 3/4" outlet should go to either the water pump or rad, depending on year model. John
