Window help
I am in the middle of rebuilding my doors and all is going well until now. I am having a very hard time getting the window back in. I replaced the regulator and can`t get the rollers back in the channels.
I have the roller for the door channel in and can get the rear roller in the window channel, but I can`t get the front roller to match up with the opening in the window channel. I am hot, tired and bleeding !!

Have you tried rolling the window up or down a little? Also do you have the regulator bolted to the door (it's the last thing I do). Leave it unbolted and roll up or down a little. I try to save the back one for last (it's just got to go in a notch in the window frame). It's aggrivating but sooner or later it will go. Good luck.

OK, window is in, regulator rollers in channels. Now I can`t get the vent back in. The window is all the way down but it is too tight to get the window into the vent channel. Seems like the window needs to be moved back to make clearance. I have the regulator unbolted as well.
Help ! PS....I tried taking the window out of the door channel and wedged it back a bit for some room, but then the front regulator roller pops out and I am back to square one. Sorry, but this is all brand new.

Putting my regulators and vents in again was like a prize fight... I would beat on it, go sit in the corner and sweat, and then go in and beat on it again. Mine are really tight because I've got power window regulators and I mounted crank switches directly to them.
Try unbolting the channel at the rear of the door... the two bolts at the bottom. Then loosen the one bolt at the top above the latch. You can move it back some and this can give you a little more wiggle room to get the vent window in, and the side window in the vent channel.

You are not hot, tired or bleeding enough yet for them to go in, I told you unless someone has a good tip they are a PIA. I know this doesn't help but just keep trying you will eventually get them in. By the time you get around to doing it again you will have forgotten what a bi**h it was.
