68 K10 drivetrain questions
What front end should be under this truck? I'm thinking it is a closed knuckle Dana 44.
Also, what 4 speed and transfer case was used in 68? Thanks

You are correct on the front axle.
4 speed would be a SM420 (reverse down and to the left) and the t-case is a Rockwell T-221. The Rockwell is easily identified because the rear output is a few inches lower than the input. I believe '68 is the only year for a married 465/221 combo.

i had a 68 k20 with the 44 closed knuckle 17.5 wheels, it had a rockwell T-221 and a SM 465 (reverse down to the right, not left.
