Body Drop help 1966 Chevy
I have a 1966 Chevy with a small block 400, 350 turbo trani, flowmaster mufflers, a .373 posi track rearend etc. etc. etc.
I got all the goods but the floor in my cab is rusted badly. I was wanting to attempt about a 3 or 4 inch body drop and about a 3 or 4 in chop on the top. I have never attempted something such as this but I was wondering if there was a write up or some helpful words that could get me started. Any suggestions? |

I got it all pretty much figured out except one part.
How would I chop the top of the cab? This seems like a very hard task because the Windshields have to be fit back into place after you have them custom made. Also the doors will have to be cut down as well. Can anyone help me out with these problems? |

Here's one done to a '63 built at IF Customs in So-Cal.
Chopped & slammed '63 Another pic And another There will bemore pics added to the IFCustom's webpage soon of the '63 project. Also check out Phil's '62. He has did a body drop, and has installed air bags(I believe). Phil's '62 I hope this helps. David
