Finally a few pics of progress....
Well, not having a digital camera has delayed me posting any kind of progress pics....by the time I get the film developed it's a day or two later...and so much more is done!!!
Anyway...I snapped a few pics last Thursday. Now...I have the front end on, radiator is in, fuel lines & electric fuel pump are installed, MSD ignition is installed (on the back side of the cowl, under the dash), so on and so on. I'm hoping to finish up all of the wiring that I need to do (it's hanging down in the pics) this week and I should FINALLY (knock on wood) be firing this beast up this weekend. Anyway...atleast you get an idea of the color scheme that I'm doing...Jet black & bright Chevy orange! I like the way the motor turned out...it gives it a "stock" appearance....but under that paint |

Thanks all...
Kurt...not running yet. If all goes well, I'll be starting the motor for the first time this weekend. I've got to finish wiring a couple more things(electric fuel pump, MSD ignition, starter) and that's the last hurdle left. Other than bolting down the seats & belts and tying up a few loose ends, it'll be on the road (& off) the following weekend. Of course I just let Murphy out of the box...he'll start enforcing his law soon, I'm sure. |
