Tailgate installation
I just got a tailgate for the truck. Now, how in the heck do I get the thing on??? I got one bracket attached but angling it to get to the other side just ain't workin' too smooth. And I don't want it banging up my brand new chrome bumper!!!!!!!!

Hate to say it but if you take the bumper off it is much more easy

The newer models just pop right out (73 & up). 67-72 have to unbolt one bracket, slip it on the tailgate pin, then swing it in and bolt the bracket back up. This is after you have slipped the pin into the other side.
