Pictures of my Burb
Bought this burb in Texas back in December for $1000. Thought it was a great deal until my drive home. The first thing to go wrong was a cloud of smoke I left across Texas and into Arkansas. Then the transmission went out and I was stuck in the middle of no where Arkansas. Towed into Memphis and had the transmission rebuilt.
When I bought it it was going to be a temporary vehicle but a decision had to be made, should I repair or junk the burb. After a few days deliberation I decided to repair it and had the transmission rebuilt. Drove it home to St Louis and the real monies began. As of today I have: replaced the engine, starter, alternator, water pump, installed a 4 core radiator, brake lines, master cylinder, billet grill, billet pedals, billet dash insert, new dash, sun visors, windows, windshield, leather seats on the first and second row, new tires and wheels, new front end, power window motors, carpet and one hella of a stereo. Here is the semi finished product. My wife and daughters hate the paint but I love the old school look. Zumo created a woody burb and at this point that is the paint scheme going on it later this fall. Let me know what you think of "Jack".

Did I mention the steering wheel? I love the way it looks. Still not complete nor do I think anyone with a toy ever is.

May not be complete, but looks like you got a good start. Good job.
Looks real good. How 'bout some wood inlays in the billet dash to go with that steering wheel. Got a rendering of Zumo's woody burb?

Any soccer mom can roll into a Chevrolet dealer with some good credit and buy a $40k Suburban. It ain't ever going to stand out like yours. Very nice!

Sweet looking burban there!! That paint job is pretty damn kool. What else do you have to do to get it finished for awhile. Because technically a truck or car is never done.

I still need to replace the headliner, rear gaskets on the barn doors, weather stripping around the windows, repalce both bumpers because they are both bent, headders with dual exhaust, and the rear end is growling. Not to sure on the rear end if I will replace it or have it rebuilt.
Thanks for the positive feedback on it. Would like to see the comments on the paint but then she will read about the steering wheel. lol
