looking for pics of low 73-87 on steel rallys/small tires
I posted this over in the pictures forum but it did not seem to get any exposure over there.
Just bought a 85 C10 short bed. Looking for pics of 73-87 trucks on steel rallies with small tires slammed low like in the picture. Also if someone could guess at a tire size for this look I would appreciate it. I am thinking maybe 225/50/15. The maroon truck is the look I’m after. The grey truck is mine. The white truck is my truck after Photoshop. Mike |

The red truck belongs to a board member. Hopefully he will drop in and let you know. I am guessing that is a 5/7 drop, or maybe even lower.
I doubt the tires are 50 series unless they are 275s or wider. Those would not fill the fenderwells enough, so it would look odd. Slonaker EDIT: It belongs to low 84. His signature says it is a 5/7 drop. http://207.44.196.117/vboard/member.php3?userid=3906 Last edited by Slonaker; 06-08-2005 at 10:38 AM. |

These pictures were taken with 235 60 15's in front, 255 60 15's in the rear.
I thought the fronts looked too small although I took the tires off of my other Blazer which is pretty low (not sure how low) and the combo looked ok? I put 275 60 15's on the rear and the 255's in the front and it looks much better. I wish there was an inexpensive 265 60 15 or a 255 65 15 but have been told that those sizes don't exist. Edit: found pictures of the 81 but they are pretty small.
