It does not really matter.what ever is better for performance.MY reason for trade is I am going to lay frame with my truck but I have long tube headers so that won't really work.

Big block or small block? I have a set of small block block huggers that are coated. I don't know if they'll fit one of these trucks or not. I've heard that generic block huggers won't.

Not for sure. You might try doing search on it. I think some of them may hit the motor mount or the frame. These have never been on anything. I'm running stock manifolds on my air-ride truck for the same reason you want the short headers.
