Shocks???

my 72 K10 is need of shocks.....I will be driving mainly on highway with very limited off road driving....I was leaning towards Rancho RS5000 or the RSX....What do the fellow 4X4 owners recommend??? Thanks...Paul

PS doesnt need to be Rancho.

I just got the 5000's, my ride is stiff as a board (HD springs) so they didn't smooth it out much, but they definitly help on the washboard dirt roads, my assend would always feel real squirrly & now it hold the road better. So IMHO they are worth the savings over the pricier ones for mainly on road use....hope this helps

I really like the Bilstein shocks. Lil expensive but you get what you pay for. Come with a lifetime warranty. Autozone sells them locally, or you can get them online from Summit and others.

i have a Superlift suspension and shocks now (very stiff ride), but i am going change out and go with the Bilsteins and some kind of custom springs (still trying to decide what is the best branc for me) myself. no personal experience with there ride, but i have heard nothing but great things about them. with that kind of reputation, i will take my chances and spend the extra cash for the good stuff.
