Driving in Primer

need my truck so i will be driving and working on it at the same time, it will feel good to drive it again its been 4 yrs Jack

Jostran. Are you using an epoxy type primer to seal the metal from the moisture? Regular old primer surfacers were not moisture proof.

started with etch primer over bare metal then epoxy I have several more gallons to use I will be doing more work before paint...I have a overdrive to install so its just temp...thanks Jack...by the way damn it feels good to drive the old girl LOL jack

Went without color for almost 2 years. I think it is good strategy to drive your project. You can;t ignore em that way.

yea after about 4 yrs it felt great.... I have been in a 4cyl mini van for that long. Boy do I love the sound of my big old tires chirping when it shifts into 2nd....and the improvment from the 327 to the 350 and 456 gears to 4.10 is amazing. I am still going to do the overdrive thing. I used the calculator at randys ring and it shows at 70 almost a 1000 rpm drop with over drive....better mileage I hope Jack
