radiator cover

What is everyone using for a radiator cover? I'm not looking for chrome, maybe polished aluminum or black powder coated. Surely someone makes an aftermarket one.

Not sure about the cover, but I suggest brackets to mount your fans. Fans are heavy and vibrate, with through mounts you will end up wrecking your rad over time. Ask Wes what happened to his new 4-core when he used them.

71Dragtruck, I agree. Brackets would be better. I previously had my fans mounted this way on my chevelle for some time without any problems though. I'll probably end up fabbing a nice aluminum shroud for both of them once I get everything together and running.

Alot of the BOARD VENDORS carry the one like LMC has,
their price is $29.95 paintable, and $49.95 Stainless, Any
of the board vendors can get em, probably cheaper.

I just made a brushed aluminum cover that is held on by the rad supports. If your looking for a bigger one that covers the rad support and the rad I suggest try your local metal/tin shop. It would be very easy to make and take only 10-20 min.

PS
where did you get the brass fittings for the waterpump bypass hose
