Question Is this to big?

I have a 400 BBC with Edelbrock Performer 2-0 intake and LT headers and a little head / vave work done to it. I was wonder a few questions is this going to fit under the hood? I will have to get the adapter because I have the spreadbore intake and it is a squarebore Carb. Also is it to big for the motor? "to many CFM's"
