Window Washer Switch - 69 Chevrolet C10
Is there a window washer switch available anywhere that is new or NOS and produced in the U. S. with quality? Had a bad experience. Purchased one from LMC Truck (Kansas) that was made in Taiwan. Started to install and when pushing the thing together with the connection the "cheap" plastic in it broke and the whole thing came apart in my hands. LMC refunded. I am reluctant to purchase from them again. It was so poorly manufactured that the prong depth had about 1/8" between! I know others sell this switch, but I would like to avoid one from that same Taiwan manufacturer. Help!

Window Wiper Switch
Randy, thanks for the information. I will contact my local Chevrolet dealer and pursue. The approximate $15 sure beats the $30 from LMC Truck for a piece of "crap" made in Taiwan! Thanks.

Window Wiper Switch 1969 Chevy C!0
Randy, bad news my local Chevrolet dealer just phoned saying that GM notified that the part is no longer available. Any further advice to offer. Does your local dealers in Louisville area have the part. GM Part #22049792 in stock? Advise. Trying to obtain original OEM GM part. Thanks.

Just happened to be perusing and found this thread. GMpartsdirect.com has it listed. Of course, if GM just pulled it recently, they may not have it anymore.
Go to the website, plug in your part number. It came up for $7.04. Good luck! |
