sway bar question

Do sway bars really work?
I'm saying this because I just bought one w/ hardware from a friend of mines and I'm wondering if it will work or not.
Monday, I'm going to order a pair of early classics lowered sway bar brackets because my 72 didn't come w/ a sway bar, so I'm asking if it will work or not.

I just did that same thing to my Jimmy. No sway bar before, mounted it with the early classics lowered brackets. MUCH better!!

Of all my favorite things to do, The utmost is to have a brew.
My love grows for my foamy friend, with each thirst-quenching elbow bend.
Beer so frosty, smooth, and cold it's paradise pure liquid gold.
Yes beer means many things to me that's all for now cus I gotta pee.

What size swaybar did you install? There is a FAQ about adding a swaybar and it is very informarmative. He also bring up the point of larger swaybars and where to get them. Think about adding a rear swaybar and you should feel almost as much improvement as you did with the front front swaybar.
