WTB: SWB rust free daily driver -- Iowa or nearby.?

Looking for a 68-72 rust free (or nearly so) daily driver. SWB and will consider 2 or 4wd, fleet or step (prefer fleet). Under $5000.??

Dreaming? Maybe so, to think you could find a rust free truck in Iowa that isn't restored. I have come across a few lwb that were pretty much rust free but they are few and far between. Also with Iowa being a farm state most of our trucks were used on the farm so there isn't much available for short anything. Took 5 years to find my short stepside and it needed alot of work. Anything that is restored will probably be more than $5000. Will keep my eye out for you. C

Thanks Solver and I pretty much agree with what you said, but I have to keep looking. I would travel for the right truck I guess.
