Need to see pics of black/white trucks..
I'm thinking about painting my 70 swb the original scheme. It had the top and bottom moldings and was black and white. I'd love to see some pics of a shorty with that color scheme.

Thanks, but that's not quite what I'm looking for. Actually, I would like to see a picture of a truck with the top and bottom molding (69-72) and the b/w/b/w paint. The black in that photo isn't real paint is it??

HOT DAMB RACEDVL - THATS GOT TO BE ONE OF THE PRETTIEST COLOR SCEMES EVER MADE. MY LATEST PROJECT IS A 72 SHORT FLEET CHEYENE, THAT IS FACTORY BLACK. IT'S ALL ONE COLOR, BUT I'M GOING TO PAINT IT JUST LIKE THE ONE IN THE PICTURE, ONLY MINE WILL BE WEARING A 68 FRONT SHEETMETAL, WITH A FUEL INJ. 350, 700R4 TRANS,& A FORD 9" WITH DISCS AT ALL 4 CORNERS.

That is one good looking truck. When I painted My 69 swb, I went to that paint scheme in blue/white/blue/white. Also my wife's Grandfather had a mint '74 F150 xlt larriet (351-4) that was factory black/white/black/white like that. He also had a 69 LTD the was mint except for 1 door that had been hit and repaired. He kep everything garaged. One of his sons got the truck, and drove it into the ground after he died about 5 yrs ago. I'm not a Ford fan but that truck and paint scheme look really good.

racedvl, you rock! That is exactly what I was looking for.. Now comes the tough part - deciding between solid black or black and white.
