Tach dash help please

Hey guys i got a tach to put in and i need a little help with the wireing.I bought a wireing kit online for the tach and need to know where to hook the wires to?I know the hookup to the tach but not sure where to hook it up to everywhere else,thanx for the help and pics wouldnt hurt...lol

I think there is only two wires (there is on mine, anyway). One goes to the dizzy and the red one plugs into the fuse panel in one of the "Ign. Unfused" slots. But I could be wrong.

hey boss!!! there should be a post on the hei cap for the tach, i think it is even marked, 1 wire to hei then 1 wire to the fuse box,find one thats hot with the key on, and not with it off.

BOSS, jamie72 is correct on the tach hookup. That is the way I connected mine with the exception I still have a points dizzy.

As an aside, did you ever get a chance to check on the dash pads from your parts Burb and Blazer? Still needing one for my '91 Burb, blue preferred. Thanks

thanx guys i will try to hook it up tomorrow when i get in.Iron i just went out to look and i dont think either is worth anything,quite a few cracks everywhere on them,sorry.Also sorry about not looking sooner.
