Cab Dolley
Looking for plans on making a cab dolley seems like I saw one made out of 4x4 lumber about 2 years ago.

We made a retangular dolly for our Camaro shell a few years back. Four 4x4 treated posts bolted togetther on big casters similar to what ChevyFarmer posted.
My cab is not setting on it

Here's mine, I made it long so I could tilt the cab back and clean/paint the underside as well.

I was planning to build one from square box tubing as a rolling table, with legs that have a smaller tube box inside so I could raise and lower the platform to clear the frame when I take off and re-install the cab. I would use the floor jack to raise the cab up, then, remove the fixed pins at the heighth that I wanted it, then re-install the pins to clear the frame. I have a design for it, using casters to move it around the yard, but I have yet to fab this up....

RPOZ11, that's a great idea to have adjustable position legs. Probably less tippy off the vehicle with lowered legs.

I like the designs, but as a suggestion I'd put soft wheels on it, it would make it a lot easier to move around. I move office furniture all day for a living, and we ditched the hard wheels on all our carts for soft ones, and it makes a helluva difference. I'd be willing to bet a fully loaded cart with panels could weigh close to what a stripped cab weighs.

I picked up a bakery cart out of a dumpster at a local Sam's Club (friend works there), and it works great for what I need.

i always make mine out of scrap lumber, they're quick to fab at less than an hour and easy to modify. i like bigger size wheels also makes for easier rolling . i get wheels at the harbor frieght store

I Got some free 2x2 steel . I made a dolley this weekend same basic design as chevyfarmers dolley I will try to post a picture the first of the week.

Someone posted these dimensions and pics about 4 years ago. Sorry I didn't save original posters name.
Mine is similar but I raised the height of the bottom side board so I could slide my cherry picker under the whole dolly to lift cab. I showed it in the last pic. I also changed the dimensions alittle on mine as far as where the dolly meets the cab. Personal preference I guess.

I bought this little "cab" dolly at a local tool rental about three (3) years ago for $200.
