Speedo reinst.
Hi guys, im back in the states and reunited with my truck, i replaced my old cluster, big gas and speedo, with a tach cluster outta a 73, and got everything to work, except for the speedo, im havin trouble reinstallin the cable in the back of the cluster, anyone have tips or tricks to reinstall?

Welcome back.
Try to position the 'keyhole' on the speedo with the cable insert. If they're both in alignment, it should slide in and clip in place. You can also try to pull in any slack in the cable they may be in the engine bay. That may help. If you're still having difficulty, disconnect the other end of the cable, so you can pull enough cable thru to connect it to the speedo. Once connected, the pull the excess cable back thru to the engine and reconnect the other end. Good luck. It is real tight fit.
