Post Heater control wire?

On my 72 there is a brown wire coming off of the heater control unit with a clip on it and I have no idea where it goes. Anybody solve the mystery for me?

I can only think of two things.

1. The blower wire is brown on mine.

2. The lighter may use a brown wire. light or the hot wire.

just guessin
