Bedwood progress pics, Not finished yet

Here are a few pictures of my bedwood sitting in place. The wood was selected, cut and finished by board member "classicchev". Darren has strayed a bit from his day job... He is a very high end cabinet maker/ finish carpenter/ home builder. Along with his many other skills, he is now in the business of making Bedwood for our trucks. Here he has selected "1/4 cut oak" for my truck. The pictures don't really show the full amount of wild grain that the wood has. If you are in need of a wood floor and want to go stock or something custom, he is the guy that can help you.

I am sorry Darren, I was going to wait until all of the bolts were in and all the dust was cleaned off, but I just shot these pics this morning after working a hour on it last night.

* Also here is a couple of shots with the new tires. I am expecting the front to come down another half an inch or so when everything is installed under the hood.

You will have to PM. him for prices. It all depends on what kind of wood you choose, and if it is a short bed, stepside or fleetside, they are all different. His board name is "classicchev" (Darren)

One of the best I've seen. Is that White Oak? If so thats a real unique bed, white oak is hard to come by.

Very very nice indeed.

Very nice. Just besure you padd it and put a cover over that till your finished with the rest of the truck. It would be a shame to drop something on it or foot print scratches.

Thank you all for the feedback! I wish I could find a way to capture what I see in person on the picture. When I get it all finished I will be sure to give it a good cleaning and take a few more progress pics.

Darren I have it almost bolted up now did you want to take a few pics for your catalogue or has your photographer already been there? I also owe you some cash so why don't you me and Cory get together on sunday maybe brunch?

Cheers

Curt

Awesome bedwood and truck

Super, thats an awesome looking bedwood set. Quarter-sawn oak has a unique look. You have done a great job. What are you using to finish the wood?
