BB Kickdown Bracket
Does anyone know if there is a kickdown bracket for a bb from the mid to late 70s? In order to get my 700r4 transmission working properly I need the proper kickdown cable bracket that will bolt to my 396. Any ideas??

Have youn tried the after market for a bracket?
Big blocks came with the TH 400 in those years in a lot of trucks and they used a kick down switch mounted on the accelerator for the detent switch, (similar to the 71-72 trucks). Jim |

BB used electric switches to shift, it sounds like you need a th350 bracket for your 700r - I have one you are welcome to try and we can trade on something later. Let me know. Harold

Sure thing
That would be great. Then I can see if it will bolt to my intake or if it needs to be modified. Private message me with the shipping details.
