What paint on a fan shroud??

Hi. I want to repaint my V8 fan shroud black because it is all faded and chalky looking. What paint should I use? Semi gloss? Thanks.

I found one in a salvage yard that looked like the one you are describing and used scrubbing bubbles on it. It is a bathroom cleaner made by S C Johnson Wax company.

this only works for detailing purpose when you try to sell a truck or car use wd 40 spray on it everything it makes everything look like new hoses pumps what ever
it doesnt last long and when dirt and dust hits it clings on and then needs steam cleaning
or use kryon paint for plastics

"WRONG" - Black Satin, VHT. I painted mine Yesterday evening after degreasing it.

What and the heck was I thinking. I wouldn't paint the shroud if you can help it. I had bought a used one and it was pretty dirty. After I cleaned it with soap and water it looked almost new or repro.
