292 or 350 Poll
I am in a pickle about building a stovebolt 292 or should i just go with a 350?
I am not looking for speed , but torque at low rpm's this is an off road ride ( for however long my spine holds up) ![]() ![]()

gofor the 350
go for the 350 you wont regret it. i've had both and prefer the 350. it's even more economical on gas too.

350......just for reliabilty and ease of access to parts alone would be reason enough for me.....especially up there.....

292 will make less power and torque than a 350 while using more fuel. While 292s are extremely cool engines (my GMC 3 ton has one, and I like it!) a SBC just makes more sense in this case.
