Happy Days Are here again
I have been trying to get the first 500 miles down on the new engine so I can start towing. Took Jeanne for a ride in the truck the other day, After about 7 miles she said WOW we can actually hold a conversation in the truck it's so quiet. On the way home after about 50 miles She said Boy those tires are noisy. They are the same tires that have been on there for 6-7 years but this is the first she heard them. Next step radial tires, That should take the flat spots off the ride and smooth it out some more.

Congrats....wives normally appreciate those touching conversations . Glad your wife rides in yours. Mine, so far, just gives weird looks when she gets near the pile.

Mine actively hates my truck. I got here in it once but it was raining and she didn't like the water coming thru the floorboard.

Mine likes all the room there is in the cab. She even sits in the middle, next to me, from time to time -- we look very old fashioned going out on dates! I'll admit, my old trucks are a lot roomier than the '86 S10 that they share garage space with.

A drunken Irishman is driving recklessly through Dublin and an alert cop pulls him over.
Cop says: "Where have you been?" The guy says: "To the pub" Cop says: "Well you know, a few intersections back your wife fell out of the car" And the drunk guy says: "Oh thank heavens, for a minute there I thought I've gone deaf"
