Next Series of Stupid Questions...

I am trying to mate a 95 350 engine to the stock three speed in my 69. I bought a Manual Flywheel from Advance Auto for like $60. How will this affect the balacement of the engine?

Different time same Channel..I am putting my 250 (6) in a 81 mounted to a turbo 350. I bought a Flywheel/Flexplate. Will this be unbalanced?

Am I getting over my head?

the only time you have to worry about balance is if you have a 400 cui crankshaft or a big block. all others are internally balanced

Your '95 350 has a counterbalanced flywheel, & in theory it should swap if you use the proper flywheel. In practice, it doesnt always work out tho (due to manufacturing tolerances). On the auto trans stuff, the flex plates are pretty lite weight, & dont usually cause any troubles.....stick flywheels swap on the older smallblocks with no trouble (as a rule), with the exception of the 400sb (already mentioned), & the late 350(1pc seal crank) ,can be a problem going from auto to stick. I would give it a try, but hang onto the flexplate that was on your late 350......you can always go auto transto solve a balance issue if it shows up. The 250/6 is nuetral balance on the flexplate, so it shouldnt cause any problems. Best of luck, crazyL
