why dont you want a reproduction as long as it fits and looks good whats it matter not being sharp with ya but i need a pad also and thats cheap if you know anyone that has bought one of these let us know how they fit and look

I want a GM part because most of the posts on repro pads have said they don't fit as well.

I have only found one good one in a junkyard in 4 years of looking. I told my friend he could have it, and I would take the next one. We never found another, and he got rid of his truck and bought a Dodge.

That's the biggest problem. Most GM pads fit like crap, the aftermarket ones are even worse.

I could care less what color I find. All my interior has been re-dyed so even if I found a maroon pad it probably wouldn't match my interior perfectly anyway....

a few years ago i bought a new dash pad at my gmc dealer for 165.00. im sure they are much higher now if you can even get them. just an idea you guys might try. jason
