uneven suspension
All right, I rebuilt the rear end new Eaton posi, left the 4:11 in, put new gas shocks, clean and painted track bar and trailering arms and installed new bushings, a sway bar, installed new 3" drop springs, brakes etc. The problem is the drives side at the rear wheel well is 31' the pass side is 32" ??????????????. Double check everything can't find the one inch not the floor, tire space is off the one inch also, it is in the suspention, any ideas.
Thanks JC

Have you measured the floor to frame or the body? Frame will tell you more, especially near the spring attach points. Body can be off in relation to the frame.
If it's coil springs are the coils seated? Have you driven the truck, helping get things seated? When I did the spring change on mine, it all looked good until I drove it around the block. One of the coils had not been in right and rotated.

*Check the coil springs to see if they are seated correctly
*Make sure the rear swaybar is not binding. Release the endlinks. *Make sure the panhard bar is not binding. *Did you unbolt the bed at anytime? Basically check anything you added or changed.

I noticed the 'new' S-10 my wife bought was like that...3/4" lower on the drivers side...so's my C-20 and so's my Elky...each a little lower on the driver's side. I'd be willin' to bet it's normal since there's someone on the driver's side 100% of the time the truck is driven and the passenger side is filled less than half that time.

My 71 C20 was a about 1/2-3/4 lower on the passenger side in the rear.
Checked everything, I even took out both leaf spring packs and changed side for them but the truck still sat a little lower on pass side. I ended up putting shims between the frame and the bed crossmembers to get it straight.
