WTT: Slider rear window for solid window in Dallas, TX area.
I had planned to sell this sliding rear window that I bought now that I have the A/C running well but I figured that maybe I will just trade someone. If you have a near perfect solid rear window in the Dallas area and you would like to trade for a nice sliding rear window reply here. Other wise I will be selling in straight out.
Mine is in good shape and already tinted. It has a solid black frame and good seals. No problems with it just want a regular window now. Thanks.

Please make sure the glass is in near new condition, clarity, no scratches, etc. They are cheap new and I just threw out my old flat glass because it was hazy.
I'll take some pictures right now.

what kind of latch is on the inside? Does it lock? I will get you a pic of the window later this morning. Thanks for the quick pics.

It is a metal snap lock type latch. It does not have a key or anything. Didn't know they made some that had keys? I can take a picture if it is important.
Thanks.

That's fine, by lock just meant that it would stay closed and stay latched.

Are either mint? Are they tinted with film or is the glass made that way?

They are both factory tinted and if you would like I live in Corinth and would be more willing to meet somewhere if you would like to see either of them. Both of them are in reall good shape but it has been awhile since i looked at them so i can't swear to that. I know that there was no "fogging" on either of them. Let me know....

Did you have a chance to look over your glass to see what the condition is like, no need to take a picture if you can describe it after you look at it... Thanks.

Let me know, Taylor

Dallas71 - I'll have to pass on yours since they are the green tint. Thanks for the interest though.

Do you want to look at mine. The truck I would be putting your slider in may have a better one, but the one I have loose is a nice one, just not perfect.

Is the other truck a driver? Maybe you can take a look at it and see if it is really nicer that the loose one or not...
Thanks!

I have tried taking pictures of mine to show you the thin scratches on the inside, but it is hard to make the show up. Let me know if you want me to maybe try with a black background or something. Or if you just want to try to find it closer first so you can see it before buying. I think any will have some slight scratches in the inside from use. The better ones will have minimal on the outside, which this one would be included.

sounds good, thanks for trying. I will definatly think about it! I am wondering what it would cost to have this one pulled and a regular one re-installed...

It is not hard, just time consuming. You have to work the old one out area by area, if you are wanting to salvage the rubber. Looks like I may be coming down to Texas this week or next, so let me know.
