Got my lines bent.....
Lines are bent. I'm in the process of tweeking, securing and tightening. Hopefully by the weekend i'll put fluid in the lines and see how bad stainless leaks. If you can't tell by the pic, on the master cylinder, i have the rear line going to a adjustable proportioning valve. The bracket i have looks crappy, i'm going to make a new one when i have some money to buy a cad program and draw one up.

Looks good to me. That bracket would look better if you rounded the edges and chromed or powder coated it.

Let me add another question:
What is the master cylinder and booster originally made for? Thanks! |

Same statements as the others. Very nice. How far are you from Sacramento! I do have one nitpick. The rear swaybar bushing on the driverside looks like it might be on the edge of the bend. If it is (could be the picture) the swaybar will not work as well as it should. I just went theough this with my S10 front (stock) swaybar. Changed to greasable poly busings and made sure they were aligned properly and the truck has new life.
*what is the rear swabra from? *what was the master and vacuum originally for? Great project!

My disc brakes are from a 74 Imperial. I swapped the housing and all. After i bought it and made the switch, i figured out the rotors are discontinued, everthing else is still good though. The master cylinder/booster are all aftermarket. I can't rember the name of the company right off, but someone else on the board had one on their ride. Very sweet lookin.
The sway bar is off an 89 Camaro turned around, upside down and mounted ontop of the rear end. I'm a little concerned on how it will react to the front bar. Hopefully it won't be so loose i can't hold on to it. Thanks for the encouragement.

The lines look great. I will shoot a pic of where I mounted my adj porp valve. I mounted it on the fire wall and looks really good liike it should be there.
The bracket you made looks good to if you were to round the edges it would look perfect. You are making progress it will not be long befrore you have it driveable.

Just out of curiosity: What kind of tubing bender do you have? can you get a picture of it and where did you get it?. I'm looking for a specific type and the way your lines are bent evenly and tightly - looks like it might be the type i'm looking for

I've seen that one in the Eastwood Catalogue - and I have another Cam Style bender...but i don't like the way it works. and I paid alot for $$ for it too. It makes nice bends...but it is hard to figure out how much extra tube you need to put into it to to get the length of the tube correct. the one that i'm looking for is this one:

This looks like a good bender, do you know the make and model number?

If your talking about the lines from the master, we used, a vice, a couple of large 1/2" drive sockets and a couple screw drivers. We have a couple of decent benders, but they only made 90 degree bends, with a large radius. Didn't want to spend the money or wait for a professional bender. So far all is ok with them.
