Drum to disk swap

I just purchased a 72 4X4 for the disk brakes (3.08 gears). My question is, I have a 68 4X4 with (3.73gears). Can I take the 3.73's out of the 68 drum front end and put them in the 72 disk front end.

Any help would be great.

jay, if the 3:08's are coming out, I might be interested in them if you want to get rid of them.
