You're probably not going to find a set used, at least for less than the new ones cost. They were only originally installed on Corvettes and almost everybody I know who has bought a set new won't part with them and used 'vette parts cost more than new truck parts...

Because Corvette restorers put a premium on original parts, new replacements even by GM just arent't the same to those guys. My manifolds were for 62-63 driver's side. They were the cheapest and I used my horizontal/vertical band saw to remove the generator brackets. I got them from Eckler's Corvette Parts. GM Performance Parts sells the manifolds as well. Prepare to pay about $80 apiece. I've been really happy with mine.

Mike,
First off, thanks for all the info. I looked back on my original posts and realised you had given me the same advice. Didn't reconize that at first. Duh. Here's my plan. I'm gona optimisticly search at Carlisle this weekend. Armed with your info that, I can get new ones for eighty a pop, is gona be a big help. If I don't spot anything there of quality, I'll try your leads. Because having GM factory originals is not on my priority list. Would be nice though. Considering that I need something for the end of next months inspection and the recent intelagence reports, the main thig to keep in mind here is, not to paaannnnnic! Peace, David
