On The Road Again!!!

well after 6 mos and a simple engine swap going apes and bananas, I finally was able to drive the truck about 30 miles last night and took it round trip of 70 miles today to work!!!! still a few little bugs to work out yet (need a new hot for my TC lockup, and I have a little pinging on hard acceleration, so i must retard the timing) but the 305 runs great and the 2004r shifts as well as my 81 caprice, so i am pretty stoked... 70 mph at 22000 rpm w/o lockup... and the tilt and power brakes are nice.. now just to install the power steering and cruise!!! buti can get to those when i get to 'em.. thanks for all the help and know how!!! ill post pics when my gf gets back from vacation with her dig camera...

my old 305 wouldn't go to 22,000 rpm's, how did you get yours to do that
