best place to buy new quality hei

i have a cheaper hei, worked fine for several years. just now having a hiccup. from past experience dealing with hei's i believe its easier to just replace the whole dam thing. not to mention cheaper in the long run.

so, where is the best place to get a QUALITY hei distributor?

please dont say go to the junk yard..lol i know a few of you started typing that already hahah. and ya, im sure i want to replace the whole thing. ebay? jegs? humm

What i did was print out the part # from summit or jegs on a accel high performance hei replacement distributor and then went to the local parts store showed them the print out and had them match the price. It was like a hundred and fifty dollar price diffrence. At first the manager didnt want to do it but i reminded him that that was his companys policy. So he called his superviser and he said to go ahead and do it

I tryed that with headers and now they say they wont do it with mail order places.

Today I just ordered a new Accel distributer from jegs for 145.00 for it and a set of plug wires. And that is shiped to my door.
