Another exhaust thread- maybe the answer to someone's problem.
http://www.jagco.com/321ss.htm
Check out these adapters- they allow for torque movement of your engine without putting stress on the exhaust system. Maybe this can help somebody.

I have seen these before and according to the owner they work without a problem. I want to know how they function in 5 years.

Its called a chain bolted to the motor and the frame. Eliminates all of that pesky flex!!! :flipoff2:

In my limited experiance in the exhaust shop, i will tell you that will "flat azz work" He!! most of the newer cars have a stainless flex pipe,& it lasts for8-10 yrs as a rule......just my thoughts after hearing the "buzz" in a stiff system,& alum collector gaskets....... L

well, everybody can rest easy, the 67-72 demigod Stacy David Himself used these on Copperhead. So, if Stacy uses them they must be worthy right?
just look at the latest issue of classic trucks magazine

The stainless flex pipes are NOT designed to run weird , or (any angle). They will deal with minor problems on the angles, but are really designed to let the eng & headers twist on a hipo app, without jacking with the rest of the exhaust...... crazyL

What do those things cost for a pair? I would love to tuck my exhaust up higher and make it more rigid, and those look like they would do the job for the connection.
