How much tread on those tires? And what bolt setup, 5 or 6 lug?

Looking at the year of the truck my guess would be 6 lug unless he's changed it.

Seems like changing to 5 lug is quite popular, since my own 72 was changed over long before I bought it.

Your 72 came factory with 5 lug. They made the switch in 71!

Ah, well his are 5 lugs too So my question was relevant even while displaying my ignorance. If I didn't already have a set of 15x10 and 15x8's in my basement I'd for sure be going to TN to get those 17's.

They are 5 lug wheels.

I'd say probably 30% tread

What are the diameters? Rim widths? Any clearance problems? do they come w/Lugs?

They are 17 x 8-1/2 .. no problems with clearance and they do come with brand new lug nuts that have locks.

i'll take them for 400 but i won't be home for another month(stuck in Colombia) but my family lives in Western KY. and my dad drives a truck back and forth to clarksville. could you maybe meet my dad or brother in clarksville or somewhere on the way to murray? if not can you hold them with payment until middle of oct? i'll be passing thru on my way home. thanks joe
