Question What buckets fit decent and are comfy?

Planning on hitting the yards this weekend. What type of bucket seats are you using? How was the mounting? How is the comfort level now? Any regrets??

man you definatly want to look at mini van seats. i bought a pair out of a 91 caravan with arm rest. the thing nice about these not only are they way confy but they set up high like our pickups almost exactly the same hieght so all you have to do is drill 4 holes slide the chair to its furthest back position and bolt them in. they are high backs so if you don't like the look they won't work for you. otherwise there is nothing better in my opinion.

Check my sig link (69 Stepside) Those are 1999 Dodge Intrepid seats. Leather and power-drivers. Very comfy. Just needed two 90 degree brackets on the front. Paid ~$200 shipped on eBay.

I have Jeep Grand Cherokee seats. I could not believe the difference between them and the old bench seat. Makes the truck soooo much easier to drive as you are held in place nice and tightly. I paid $150 cdn for the set.

Looks good. What steering wheel is that? I'm looking for a woody for my Burb.

That is a Grant. I'm sorry though I don't really remember the model, but I can say it was the cheapest one other than the foam-rubber generic grants.

I dont have seats in my truck yet but I do also drive a mini van. Those are the most comfortable seats. SO when it comes time to put seats in I will look at those. They are great on your back.

Thanks. Truck69

If you're tall like me (6'1") or have a beer gut (like me), or just like to have the seat reclined (like me), I would look for a bucket that has a low back. I put a set of buckets from a 2000 Silverado in my truck, and I find it kinda cramped. The headrest and the area for the integrated seatbelt hit the rear windshield before I have the seat where I want it. If the back of the seat was only as high as the bottom of the windshield I would still have another inch maybe 2 that I would be able to recline into. Just my $.02

I have used 83-88 chevy nova buckets in my Blue 72 ,red 72 and silver 68. I used 88 acura seats in my ochre 71. Like the acura seats the best as far as fit and quality of ride

95/96 astro van,you can use the mounts and the seats, preferably a conversion style with arm rests, they are not to high and fit real good.
