Help me pick out a mp3 receiver

Im about to buy a new receiver and theres too much to pick from. Im looking at buying from www.hookedontronics.com . Their stuff way cheaper than crutchfield. Anyway, I have Kenwood 6.5" component speakers and plan on adding 2 10" or 8" subs in the near future and probably a 4 channel amp if I need to power my comp. spkrs. I want my receiver to play mp3s, and Im kinda goin for the 3D-ish look on the display so it can display plenty of text. I like Kenwoods and Panasonics, but if you have a brand you think is good too let me know. One of my main questions is the sub preamp outputs. My friend has a Panasonic and he can basically turn his sub off and on very easily. Most of the Kenwoods I looked at dont have it, but I assumed I could hook up the subs to the rear output and do basically the same thing, or could I only lower the bass across all the speakers?
Im looking at spending about $200 ballpark.
Any suggestions?

Another reason why Im leaning a little toward Kenwood is b/c of the possibility of me getting Sirius sometime in the future. Been listening to it a lot on our Dish (Hair Nation is awesome )
Although Ive never heard XM and chances are I might never get either..

I have a Pioneer 8500MP that cannot be beat for the money. I run XM satelite, MP3s in the CD player and a full 60GB IPOD.
I also have an auxillary input for my laptop when watching DVD's.
