Tranny cooler question
Anyone here mount a tranny cooler any place other than in front of the radiator I would like to mount it under the cab or bed area? Any thoughts on this??? BTW I bought a B@M SUPER COOLER 70268 for a 13,000 btu..

well the cooler needs to have air pass thru it......
unless it has a fan mounted on it.......in front of the rad... or a/c cond... would give you max cooling........i run two on my 85.....one up front one lower with a fan mounted cooler......5200 stall heat's up......big time...... a trans brake sends the temp thru the roof.......just IMO |

I have an in-the-frame rail cooler for my TH350, works great, can't see it either.

I don't have anything fancy just a th400 with a kit in it..... Guess I will look fo a little e-fan to stick on it ... Thanks guy's..

You can buy remote trans cooler w/fan and they can be mounted behind the cab up under the bed...... seen it done looks good .

they make a heat sink cas aluminum frame rial mounted tranny cooler ,they work well and don't require a fan//
