I just filled up at $3.09 here. Tomorrow I'm motoring up to Griffin GA (7-8 hours one-way) to pick up a cab, anyone know what the gas prices are up around there?

Thanks Cliff - That's what I'm scared of as well but I don't really have a choice. The guy needs it gone and I don't have any idea when I would be able to get off work to make it up there.

thank FOX News for causing a HUGE stir after a guy in Georgia raised his price to over $5. It caused the government to fine many gas station owners with price gouging

Most stations here are around $3.09 that is if they have any regular. Some are just out of gas. They say you should buy a locking gas cap so they can not steal gas out of your tank. Been having some of that trouble here. Not much but some. Drive off's is also getting more common.

2.85 a gallon here in California, seems cheap compared to the rest of the country. Usually California is the highest and the refinery is just down the road from me. Maybe I can get a discount if I cut out the middleman and go to the refinery to get my gas. I just need a holding tank, a tanker and EPA approval.

Yesterday, our gas went from 2.659 to 2.999. Today went up to 3.199. Lady at the Circle K claims that it will get to $4 by thanksgiving, $5 by Christmas, $10 by the end of January.

Hope she's full of sh!t.

Every day it seems the price of gas goes up where I live, at the same station too.
Sucking the money right out of our pockets I say. Here comes $4.00 a gallon real soon. Oh we stubbed our big toe, gas goes up a nickle.........
