finally got in my factory bucket seats...i picked them up at a junkyard, there off a 78 i think..had to get them re-upholestered....also got the console from a suburban and color died it...

also tinted my windows....5% on the rear, and 20% on the visor, and sides

now i just need some black seat belts and i'm set...finally

Looks sweet!! How much did they cost to get redone? I'll have to get my Taurus ones redone soon in the truck.

Dude that looks awesome. I really wish you wouldn't show me those though. I want some in my 77 so bad I can't stand it. Unfortunately my wife keeps reminding me that the bench seat is more practical for the family. Like they ever ride with me anyway.

You know if you got the blazer done then you could have buckets for the blazer and haul everyone around. Plus then you could put seats in the truck

thanks alot! i love the look of buckets, but there not that practical....i can now only seat two

, and i've got three kids and one more on the way as well.....(i've got the speach too about how now i can only fit just two in there)

By the way. What is with the red seat belts. I know seat belts are hard to dye. I tried it.

well, my entire interior was originally red..and i've been changin over to black

i'm tryin to find some black seat belts, but there either hard to find or very $$$$

Looking great man, looking great. I too have factory buckets for my truck and L-O-V-E how they look in trucks, especially with factory center consoles in them.

I am building my truck similar to yours (but I have been taking longer obviously

), and am making it a floor shift...so I also have a 4-speed tilt column (no shifter provision on the column). I think your truck would look kewl too with a nice floor shifter in there...it'll match your "muscle truck" theme.

funny you should mention this.....i've been kickin it around pretty seriously..

hey bigarmzz, the seats look awesome. i remember seeing your thread on painting the truck. i dont think i ever got a reply on the questioni h ad so ill try again, how many cats of base and clear did you lay on and what grit did you colorsand with? i just did an 82 regal in black with white pearl ghost flames and went with 2 coats of base, 2coatsd of clear mixed with pearl for flames, and then 3 coats of clear. color sanded with 1500 grit, buffed and finished with handglaze and im not too happy with the finish, most people would say it looks great but im not impressed with the finish. sorry i know this is irrelevant to your thread but your finish looks awesome!

3 coats base, 3 coats clear, color sanded with 1500, buffed with 3M two stage compound, and finished off with handglaze...it didnt turn out too bad...but i'm like you, very picky

As far as black seat belts go, have you tried Juliano's. They're not OEM, but they may work.

The street rod folks use them and I see their seat belts in many rods. From what I can tell, they look good.
