85 x-member in a 70
I can get a front crossmember out of an 85 chevy C/10 for free will this still fit or is it too new. Another problem is that the pickup has a deisel engine will the power steering pump and box fit mine.

I read somewhere that all the bolt holes except for two will line up, but I can't say from experience. I'm not sure about the pump bracket/ pulley shaft, but I always thought there were only two different boxes-- 2WD & 4WD.

yup, billogna is right, all but 2. bolt up all that align and then drill the other 2.
