New garage pics,...
Hey everyone,... I kinda feel like a stranger. I haven't been on here in a long time. Just wanted to stop in and say "Hi" and show you guys and gals what I've been working on all summer. The size is 30x50. The outside is done except for the wiring. The inside needs wiring and plumbing. I will have to finish this in the spring, because I'm going on 12-hour days for a while. I can't wait to move in! lolife99.

You are so lucky, I will not be able to build one due to the
contour of my land, I will be adding on to my house, but it will limit how big I can go, Congrats and keep us updated.

OK I am extremely jealous
Do you have access from the other side? Any office space? Loft space? Just random thoughts. Darn that is nice.

Thanks, everyone, for the kind words. I have been saving my "spare cash" for almost 10 years. I wanted to build the ultimate shop,... in my mind. I have a 30x30 work/paint area,... and a 20x30 storage area for the tractor, lawn mower and other junk. It has a loft in the 30x30 side and a "vaulted ceiling" in the 20x30 side,... just in case I would put a lift in some day. I am broke now,... so hopefully in the spring I can get the inside "sheet rocked" and DONE!

I already live in my garage (well actually my dad's), that would be like moving up to the penthouse to work on my vehicles. Awsome garage.
Is it an open ceiling or do you have attic space?

lolife99, that looks great. I wish I could build one like that but due to money and time I will be going with a 30x50 metal building. Got any interior pictures? I'd love to see how big it looks from the inside.

Man, that is one nice garage. Now you have a nice place to go if the "little woman" kicks you out. You will not have to go to the dog house. Just kidding. I am going to build one I hope soon. But was thinking of a '30x48' but now looking at yours, might also go with the '30x50'. Most women just do not understand about men and their garage. My wife tells me "it's a man thing" and she is right. Looks great.

There is only one thing wrong with that shop, and that is that it isn't setting in my back yard! Nice job man! Keep us posted with some progress pics.

Very COOL! I'm adding on to the carport this fall or next spring & my shop is a whoooping 10' X 10' aluminum shed (lol) .... but I'm not complaining I still manage to get stuff done & the bikes are protected from the weather. God I'd die for that size of shop, very COOL! Doug
