Just ask for 5x5 or 5 on 5 and you will be set.

It's not.

The 5 inch dimension is the diamter of the bolt circle. On a 5 lug, the lugs are not straight across from each other. The measurement from center to center will actually be somewhat smaller than 5 inches technically.

On a 6 lug or a 4 lug, you can measure from stud to stud though.
