I have a 1970 CST20 with the gas tank behind the seat. I would like to convert it and get it out of the cab.

I'm looking for someone that has done this with good results. I would prefer not cut into the side bed to expose the fill tube.

Anyone have some experience with this?

Did this conversion on a 71 c10 with no problems, bought the poly tank from GMC Pauls and put the filler tube in the wheel tub, has worked great.

My 72 has a setup similar to that you see on the 67-72 style blazers. I have an aluminum fuel cell mounted in the spare tire location and the filler on the inside rear of the drivers-side of the bed. I've got a link because the pic is too big to upload.

i put it in the rear tailight, there is no visible cutting from the inside of the bed or out
