Gear box
I have a 67 I'm wanting to add a steering box to. Can I shim the gear box without any problems?

If you are talking about adding power steering -yes. I did my '65 CMC this way years ago-almost 80,000 miles and none-yet.

Rez Engineering originated power steering conversion kits for 60-66 GM trucks. He also handles 67-72 conversions. Best and longest expertise on steering conversions in the business. Rez also sells everything as a kit or as parts, such as any adapter plates or spacers needed. Some 67-72 vendors sell Rez Eng conversion parts. 1-406-727-9267 M-F, 8-5.
