What plugs are best?
I've got a crate 350 (carbuertor) with no paper work so I'm left guessing on parts. This time it's spark plugs. I tried my best to get the casting number off the block. Had to use mirror and a flashlight. If I'm reading Mor Tec's table right, it's either "69-76 4 bolt main' (10036033) or an "86 & up 2 or 4 bolt main" (10066036) those numbers were really hard to read in a mirror! I pulled a couple of the current plugs. They turned out to be "Split Fire" SF 2E's. It's got a split electrode arrangement. At least one of them looks to have been running hot. They all have pretty good wear. I have no idea how long they've been in there. Anyway Haynes lists AC R44T or AC R44TX for the older casting and R44T for the newer. It's a daily driver and I'd appreciate your recommemdations for a good replacment (along with the gap)
