tilt swap

Forgive me if this is being beat to heck---------I have a tilt column from a 85 1/2 truck,how can I wire this to my 69 stepside?----anyone know of adapters ect? diagrams?

Anything can be made to fit with enough time and money. Easier if you locate the proper year or a converted one out of a van. With the one out of the 85---relocation of the ignition, dimmer, and whatever options came in the blazer.

Windshild wipers, high beam, ignition switch, a much larger diameter column....
I'd sell it myself. I don't see a location for you there, but I know in my neck of the woods, you can get a van tilt that'll look 99% stock for 30 bucks any day of the week. (maybe not THAT common...but none the less)

I have the wire adapter. The way to make it fit is to trim the guage beazle and put longer bolt in the clamp under the dash. Also remember to use the shaft that goes to the steering box too. I had one in my truck, I took it out so there would only be one key hole. I kept trying to start the truck from the wrong one. stupid me.

No matter what, it's a class B fit.

Seem them installed though but to me it just doesn't look right at all.

Find the correct year column, you'll be glad you did.
